The Arsonists

A darkly comic play about complacency and complicity, where a respectable businessman, Biedermann, naively welcomes two menacing arsonists into his home, filling his attic with gasoline barrels, refusing to see the danger until his own house is ablaze. A visual spectacle full of laughs, bad decisions and somewhat spectacular explosives.

Recommended age: 11+

Five of Uppingham's Upper Sixth musicians perform in the final of the school's premier music competition, adjudicated by composer and performer Richard Sisson.
